WSOP Online Poker Promotional Offers Available to Nevada’s Tourney Players
Nevadans, who cannot decide whether to take part in the World Series of Poker action at the Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas, or to wait for the online poker tournament, need not think any further.
All WSOP tournament players who are 21 years old and above, and participating in the Rio events are encouraged to sign-up for an online account as pre-registered players of WSOP.com. Although the site has yet to launch its real-money poker games online, a pre-registered member will be automatically included in the “The $100K Freeroll” tournament, which is the first event of the “WSOP.com Online Championships”. The winner of the freeroll event will be one of the “Online Nine” champions who will compete against the offline finalists in the WSOP Main Event scheduled in November.
Pre-registered online members will also have the chance to win free seats in the WSOP gold bracelet events, via the following:
- The “36-Seat Giveaway” promo gives a randomly selected winner a free seat in the next day’s first WSOP gold bracelet event. It includes seats at the $111,111 One Drop High-Rollers No-Limit Hold’em and the WSOP Main Event.
- The “Hot Seat” promotion is one in which randomly selected pre-registered online players donning the WSOP.com patch prominently on their chest while playing at the tourney table, will be entitled to a $500 bonus. The bonus will be added instantly to the selected online player’s account, as soon as the State of Nevada gives the final approval for the site to go live.
Although WSOP.com is open to non-Nevadans, keep in mind that an online player has to be physically located within the territorial boundaries of Nevada, in order to have access to one’s account and to the real-money online poker offerings, once the site goes live.
