William Hill, the Britain based online gambling operator and land based titan has issued the financial reports of the first half of this year.
These reports held amazing numbers for the investors as it indicated a 2 digit increase in the revenue and the profits of operating.
This financial report included the time period from the beginning of the year until the 26th of June, a total of twenty six weeks.
The net revenue of the company increased by a total of 11% when compared to last year’s performance as it reached a sum of 627.8 British pounds.
The profits from operating reached 167.8 million British pounds. This is a fourteen percent increase from the same period of last year.
This amazing increase in the net revenue of the company in the 6 month period was greatly aided by the thirty percent year on year increase in the online net revenues that reached a total sum of 198.4 million British pounds.
As for the Retail businesses’ revenue of William Hill, it reached 417.4 million British pounds.
This represents an increase of 5 percent when compared to the first six months of 2011. The company has praised the amazing performance of the online subsidiary of William Hill as it saw an increase of 33% in the online sportsbook wagers from last year and an increase of thirty percent in its overall net revenue of last year.
