Why So Many Pictures of OBL?

God bless AmericaOne might think that it is propaganda week for Al-Qaeda with all of the smiling images of their felled leader plastered across the interwebs.  Then the call for gruesome kill shot photos of OBL were denied by the White House.  Good move or bad move, time will tell, but morbid curiosity can always be satisfied by watching the hanging of Saddam Hussein on YouTube.  There was a time when any media, audio or video of OBL appearing meant that a message was being sent to Al-Qaeda.  What message is being sent now?  You will be told that the war isn’t over, fear still lurks around the corner; but you are not alone in your reveling.  Many peace loving people around the world are happier, happy for the world and happy for America. Patriotism, no matter what some might say as they wag their finger, is not something to hide or be ashamed of.  Relief that a murderer that harmed so many, kept so many fearful for so long is now removed is a cause of celebration.  Perhaps just not so many photos;  leave them for the history books as another despised figure and diseased anomaly along the path to global peace.  If you would like to see a photo of OBL, this one is a remarkable one that says it all: http://www.fbi.gov/wanted/wanted_terrorists.   Mark  Whysall
