Frankie “The Answer” Edgar and Randy “The Natural” Couture left the victorious on Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 118 that was held in TD Garden Boston, Massachusetts.

The talented and highly skilled Edgar successfully defended his UFC lightweight belt in his first title defense in a rematch firth with former champion BJ Penn. The 28-years old Edgar effectively utilized his speed and strength against the 31-yearrs old Penn to win by a unanimous decision, 50-45 on all three judges scorecards.

“He’s the man. I’ve got nothing bad to say. He fought me twice. He walked away with the decision twice. What can you say? It looked like the same kind of fight as last time. He got off good. Much respect. I’ve really got to go back and think about things” Penn said.

UFC 118 co-main event, one of the most talented wrester as well as UFC Hall of Famer Randy Couture needed only 3 minutes and 19 second to end the fight. The 47-years MMA veteran and Olympic-level wrestler Randy Couture, old Couture nailed his 19th victory as he overcame the former champion boxer James Toney on the first round arm triangle choke submission.

“This is exactly what we trained to do. No one really shoots a low single in MMA. I knew with James’ boxing stance a low single would probably be there, and it worked. I’ve worked on that arm-triangle for over a year now, so to finally get it, it was awesome,” Couture said.

Meanwhile, Boston Celtics Center Shaq O’Neill was present at the fight. MMA fans are aware that the 38-years heavyweight basketball superstar wanted to fight in UFC. On an interview with MMA Live host Jon Anik, Shaq said that he wanted to fight Hong Man Choi of Korea in the Octagon.
