Brent McMahon, owner of California-based McMahon’s RV recently sued by actor Twilight star Taylor Lautner for allegedly failing to deliver a $300,000 Recreational Vehicle (RV) on time has offered to settle the lawsuit with the Twilight star in a push-up contest.
The businessman said that he will pay the 18-years old actor the $40,000 he is seeking in damages if he can beat him at push-ups duel, the businessman added that he will donate the money to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County, California if he wins in the push-up match.
But the camp of Taylor Lautner rejected McMahon’s proposal.
The actor’s lawyer Robert Barta said:
“McMahon RV’s response to our client’s legitimate claim further demonstrates the lack of professionalism that Mr. McMahon, his company, and his employees have exhibited from the outset, and that compelled the filing of this lawsuit in the first place.”
However, Barta said Lautner did “welcome the opportunity for him to resolve the matter by making a $40,000 donation to the charity of Mr. Lautner’s choice.”
