The eGaming Review Names Candidates for the Ninth eGR Operator Awards

New York Gambling LegislationThe annual ceremony for the recognition of gaming excellence and innovation achievements in the online gambling industry is all set to take place on November 23, 2013 at “The Roundhouse” in Camden, London. In line with this, the eGaming Review (eGR) selection committee released the names of Igaming companies shortlisted as contenders for the “Ninth (9th) eGR Operator Awards”.

The nominees for “Casino Operator of the Year” are 888Casino, Mr. Green, Paddy Power, 32Red and William Hill; while contenders for the “Customer Services Operator of the Year” are Gamesys, Jackpot Party Casino, mFortune Mobile Phone Casino, Mr. Green, Paddy Power and William Hill.

Shortlisted as “Poker Operator of the Year” are 888poker, mFortune Mobile Phone Casino and Paf. Leading bookmakers Paddy Power and William Hill are the only nominees vying for the “Financial Betting Product of the Year”. Both bookmakers are also nominees for “Sports Betting Operator of the Year” along with Bet365, Betfred, Sky Betting & Gaming and Unibet. Except for Unibet, the aforementioned bookmakers are also contenders for this year’s new category “Mobile Sports Product of the Year”.

Shortlisted as “Bingo Operator of the Year” are GalaBingo, Gamesys, Mecca Bingo, Tombola and William Hill, while candidates considered for the “Socially Responsible Operator of the Year” award are Betsson Group, Mr. Green, Paf, Sky Betting & Gaming, Tombola and Unibet.

BingoGodz, Casumo, House of Fun, Intellectual Property and Software, LeoVegas, Metro Play and Plumbee are the qualifiers for the “Rising Star” award.

On November 04, 2013, which is the final judging day for the Headline Categories, an official representative of each of the nominees will briefly discuss to a panel of expert judges, why his or her company should win; as well as well as face a five-minute panel interview.
