Teenage Fashion Trends…for Moms?
Teenagers are getting angry at their parents for butting into their lives and business every day, but now more than ever, confrontations can be found in area shopping malls. Many moms have been caught buying clothes at popular boutiques like Hollister and Abercrombie and Fitch, but not for their daughters, for themselves. These same people insist that they aren’t trying to dress younger or to blend in with their teenage daughters friends.
Often, they pick clothes that do not have the store’s logo all over it, and are simplistic in style and color. Many of the biggest culprits are women who have recently lost a significant amount of weight. One of the biggest trends to come out of this are specialty shops with trendy clothing that both teens and adults can wear without the former being embarrassed. While many of the styles may be interchangeable, borrowing clothes from your teenage daughter is not the most recommended option.
