Underdogs Switzerland stunned fancied Spain 1-0 in a Group-H encounter of FIFA World Cup in Durban, South Africa on Wednesday. The upset provided the much needed drama to the current World Cup, all results of which so far have been on expected lines.
This was the first loss for Spain, which was widely believed to win the coveted trophy, in last 13 games and just second in 50 games. The victory was also Switzerland’s first over Spain.
