Royal Caribbean Cruises
There’s a nursery for the tots, and playgroups for children 18 to 36 months. For the older kids, there’s face painting, story time, scavenger hunts, games, science experiments, parties and off-shore adventures geared for the kids. There is also the Sitters at Sea program. Staff will watch your child (aged 1 and up) either in your stateroom or in a group setting for a small fee.
Teens have their own lounge and can participate in activities like learning to surf, attending a DJ academy, ice skating, pool parties and barbecues. And you don’t have to worry about who’s watching the kids. The youth staff have degrees in education, so you can feel good about their experiences on board or off.
There’s also the DreamWorks cruise where the kids can rub elbows with the likes of Shrek, Fiona andPo. They will enjoy parades, parties, aqua shows and story times feature the characters from DreamWorks animated movies.
The cruises even have a family friendly dining service. Children 3 to 11 are served their meals first, and then are picked up by staff. You can then enjoy the rest of your meal relaxing with your spouse.
