Pushing the Envelope with Online Sports Wagering

The governor of the state of New Jersey, Chris Christie has announced that he is going to follow his quest to make sport wagering legal at online casinos and at the horse tracks by this upcoming November. This pursuit will face tremendous challenges from the federal govt. This has been stated in an announcement that the gov. made to the reporters while in Atlantic City, as he assured everyone that hem along with his administration will pursue legalizing sport wagering in the casinos of A.C. and at the racing tracks.

He has also added that giving the casinos in Atlantic City the ability to take on sport betting on both college and professional sports like what happens inVegas is very important. This is due to the fact that such legalization would give A.C. the ability to attract more clients with this new option, which would help Atlantic City with the fierce competition that it is having with Pennsylvania.

All of this comes despite the fact that the federal govt. has made any expansion to sport betting illegal, and it has restricted such activities to the state of Oregon, Montana, Delaware and Nevada. At the beginning of this year, the governor has signed a proposal that would legalize sport betting in the state of New Jersey in Atlantic City. He added that it will happen, and if some are against this, then he will have to take the needed actions to stop them.
