Apple developed a new application specially design for the new iPhone 4. Nope, this is not a usual application. The new app in the App store called “iPhone 4 Case Program.” This new application prompts users to sign in with their Apple ID, which will serve as verification that they have an iPhone 4, and from there users can get their free iPhone case – a.k.a bumper – in just a snap: : choose your color and manufacturer and it’ll be on its way.
“If you are experiencing reception issues with your iPhone 4, you are eligible to receive an iPhone 4 Bumper or other selected third-party case from Apple at no charge,” the company said.
However, the company said that it will take time, at least three weeks or month to send out the bumper cases.
Apple also said that they’ve already refunded the purchase price of bumpers and cases to iPhone 4 users who purchased the accessories on a credit card. Sp those consumers who used cash, they have until September 30th to get a full refund in nearest Apple store in their area. Customers who used a gift card on Apple’s website, a new gift card will be sent out. But hose people who purchased a case from an AT&T store will have the most difficult time. In that instance, they need to fill out a special rebate form, include a copy of the receipt, mail it in and wait.
Information on Apple’s page about the program was pretty concise:
