It seems that the Gaming Control Board of the state of Nevada is on a roll in terms of approving internet gambling companies. As after the board approved Bally Technologies, they have further approved 2 more companies and gave them internet gambling licenses. These two companies are William Hill and International Game Technology known as IGT. It will be specifically tested for its ability to prevent underage gambling and the access of gamblers from outside the borders of the state of Nevada.
Commenting on this, the chief executive of IGT has stated that the company is very proud and honored that it is one of the 1st recommended online gambling operators to be accepted by the state of Nevada. He added that such approval is a huge step that will make IGT able to provide its customers with the best gambling experience and wager entertainment. The company also stated that the final ruling will be carried out on the 21st of June by the Gaming Commission of the state.
The executive VP of IGT, Robert Melendres stated that the gambling operations section of the company has almost 400 employers. Another comment came from the director of the gambling operations, Crystian Terry who stated that the company uses all the measures needed to verify the location and the identity of the users before allowing them access to the websites.
