Mortgage Rates, Food Poisoning and Golf, the Typical American Christmas

If you are reading this, then you have made it through another year’s Christmas.  That could mean you survived your aunt’s attempt to get your inheritance with food poisoning or your father’s griping about mortgage rates.  The nice thing about surviving is getting to play golf the next day.  Day after Christmas golf is becoming a tradition in a lot of American households.  Several courses have made sure to be open so that they can reap the rewards of the passion for the sport.

Food poisoning and mortgage rates aside, golf has to be getting up to at least second after baseball as the favorite American past time.  Anyone can play, anyone can be taught and the exercise benefits are amazing.  If you are thinking of going out with the buddies, you might want to rethink that.  Day after Christmas golf is a time to show your loved ones your other love, golf.  It’s a time of miracles and expressing the love that truly drives you, that helps you wake up everyday.

Your family can have a better understanding of the game and a better understanding of you.  It also gives your kids an annual tradition to look forward to.  This year, use your day after Christmas to hit the links.
