The Korean device maker LG announced two new Android 2.2 (Froyo) Optimus series smartphones, the LG Optimus One and the LG Optimus Chic.
The LG Optimus One offers a 3.2” HVGA touch screen LCD (320 x 480), 600MHz processor, and 3.0-megapixel camera. LG Optimus One is expected to hit Europe by next month with other EMEA and Asia-Pacific countries to closely ensue.
The Optimus Chic come with a 600MHz CPU, 3.2″ HVGA LCD (320 x 480) touchscreen, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus, and 600 MHz processor, plus 150MB user memory.
Pitched at fans of fashion phones, the Optimus Chic also comes with 2.2 straight out of the box, plus a 3.2-inch touchscreen display and a five megapixel camera. LG Optimus Chic will enter Europe by November and other markets across the globe shortly after.
Both devices offer microSD card support, allowing buyers expandable memory of up to 32GB.also, LG allows users to sync with Outlook Calendar and portable Wi-Fi hotspots. Since the device run with Google’s Android 2.2, users can easily access the Android market and numerous android apps, including various Google Mobile Services features includes Google Maps with Navigation, Voice Search, Voice Actions, Shopper.
