Lady Gaga’s fashion antics and radical disposition may have been the bulk of any write-ups that has her on the subject. But when she is not doing some revealing photo shoots for Vanity Fair, Lady Gaga is bent on making music history, smashing music charts and creating new music records.
The 24-year old pop / glam rock artist has received 13 nominations for the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. It is the most number of nominations a single artist has received in a single year. The woman behind chart-topping hits like Monster, Poker Face, and Telephone said she is enjoying the privilege.
“I’m so honored for the little monsters and self-professed freaks of the universe, to have more VMA nominations in a single year than any artist.”
Lady Gaga added that she does not mind that 13 is an unlucky number.
Among the nominations the outrageous musician has received include Best Pop Video, Best Dance Music Video, Best Female Video and Best Choreography for her hit single, Bad Romance.
She might end up competing with herself for the Best Choreography and Video of the Year Awards as her hit Telephone with Beyonce
has also been nominated for the said recognition.
“God put me on Earth for three reasons: To make loud music, gay videos and cause a damn raucous,” Lady Gaga said.
