In an effort to crack down on illegal immigrants in the United States, a new passport application has been released that requires much more than the basic information. While the initial application is still mandatory, there will be a number of people that will have to fill out the longer one as well.
This will only have to be done if there is not “sufficient proof of citizenship or identity” according to the State Department. Such information that is required are things like any address in which you ever held residency, a complete job history with supervisor’s names, and even information about your mother’s addresses before, during, and after your birth. While this may seem intrusive to some people, many others are at ease with the security effort that has been established.
