The Google Chrome Web Store looks like it’s preparing to roll out pretty soon. According to the company statement posted on The Chromium Blog, Google already informs US developers that they are now allowed to link their apps up to Google Checkout merchant accounts in order to charge and receive payments for applications on the Chrome Web Store.
Unfortunately, Chrome Web Store Payments is currently available only to US developers. But as expected, Google is working to enable the feature to international developers.
Google Web Store Official Guidelines have also been released by the company to efficiently explain the uploading process into the to the web store along with details on backgrounds, screenshots, headers as well as icons and promotional images.
It is expected that the Google will open the Google Chrome Web Store sometime in October.
