First 3D Phone Debuts

First 3D Phone Debuts

Sprint has just released its newest cell phone on Friday, the Evo 3D.  This phone is made by HTC and utilizes much of the same technology as its predecessor, the Evo 4G, which was released in the summer of 2010.  This 3D phone is the first of its kind, and uses similar technology as that of the Nintendo 3DS that was released earlier this year.

Android Technology

While this phone will most likely not surpass the sales that the iPhone 4 had, it is the latest in Android technology and will give the latter a run for its money.  One thing that will prevent the sales from even coming close to each other; the Evo 3D is sold exclusively through Sprint, while the iPhone is available through both AT&T and Verizon.  This phone shares many of the same features as the Evo 4G, but is missing one feature; no kickstand.  This can be remedied by purchasing a case exclusive to the Evo 3D that has a kickstand.
