Diet Plans and Health, Bad Cholesterol Really Not that Bad?

Research has recently been conducted to see how bad LDL cholesterol really may be for people and was surprised at the findings. While it is not necessarily good for you, in some cases it isn’t really a problem, even in what some health care professionals may consider to be an elevated level.
The research showed surprising results in those that were in their sixties and were still physically active and in good shape and but weren’t part of a training program or working with a personal trainer. The people that had the highest amount of muscle mass were ironically also the ones that reported the highest LDL levels, leading researchers to come to the conclusion that you actually need a certain level of LDL in your system in order to produce muscle mass.
This of course does not mean that you can ignore what you are eating and not have to worry about your cholesterol at all, it just means that staying involved in physical activity throughout your life can reap some major health benefits.
