Casino games maker, Zynga and phone giant, Nokia have joined forces in order to add more value to the Nokia product line and the Asha touch mobile phones. It has been announced by Nokia that it is going to even expand the already existing business relationship with the social gaming giant, Zynga. This expansion is going to witness the addition of Zynga games to the Asha devices starting from the 3rd quarter of this year. This would make these games available to more than one hundred million users. These games will include hit titles such as Draw Something and the all time famous game, Zynga Poker. The list of devices is going to include Asha 311, Asha 305 and Asha 306.
This partnership is also going to add the top games from the Zynga gaming suite to Windows Phones and Nokia Lumia phones by the autumn of 2012, these games also include Draw Something.
Commenting on this, the vice president and general manager of Nokia, Bryan Biniak has stated that this expansion of the already existing partnership with Zynga is going to witness the addition of the games offered by Zynga on the different Asha Nokia touch devices. This is going to give the clients a great variety in the games they can enjoy on their smart phones.
Nokia is not the only mobile phone manufacturer to depend on games in order to sell more devices. Last May, Gameloft and MediaTek joined hands in order to develop games that are based on the MediaTek’s chipsets.
