Call of Duty goes Social

apple_ipad_gamesActivision Blizzard has recently announced that a new installment of the popular Call of Duty series will debut later this year.  The newest game, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, will feature an interactive PC platform that will be able to host millions of players simultaneously, for a monthly fee.  The fee will allow gamers to play as often as they like, and will also have a number of free items and bonuses for the gamers.  Blizzard is no newcomer to the world of online gaming. In fact, they are the creators of three of the most popular games in PC history; the Diablo trilogy, Starcraft and World of Warcraft.  Activision Blizzard is hoping that by releasing on a PC platform, they will be able to avoid security breaches such as the one that Sony recently experienced, causing a shutdown of its interactive game play.
