WonderRoot, Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center, Living Walls, Dashboard Co-op and many more arts organizations will gather on May 12th in an effort to show support for the Office of Cultural Affairs as they face severe budget cuts.
Atlanta arts leaders have organized a public demonstration on the steps of Atlanta City Hall for Thursday, May 12 · 5:00pm – 8:00pm to show public support for the Office of Cultural Affairs and the importance of grant funding to Atlanta non-profit cultural institutions. This rally will take place at 5pm Thursday, May 12 at 55 Trinity Avenue. Directly following the demonstration arts supporters are invited to meet in Council Chambers for the public hearing on the Office of Cultural Affairs Budget. Arts leaders will make testaments presented to City Council.
