All-Access Tour Gets You Backstage on Royal Caribbean
Ever wonder where all that food is made on a cruise ship? You could find out if you’re hitting the high seas this fall. Royal Caribbean Cruises is offering a special tour of areas normally off-limits to passengers. Launched in July, all Royal Caribbean International ships are offering an All-Access Tour.

The tour offers a glimpse of the Galley, the Laundry, the Engine Room and the Bridge. Tour participants also get to meet the crew behind the inner workings of these areas that are so vital to their comfort and enjoyment of a Royal Caribbean Cruise.
The tours are available to all guests on board the ship, but there is a maximum capacity. The tour is limited to 15 people, so once you are on board, you should look into securing a spot on the tour. This is especially important as only one tour per cruise is available on cruises that are six nights or less. If you are on a longer cruise, two tours will be offered.
The tours last anywhere from three to three-and-a-half hours. If you have any kind of physical limitations, you may want to pass on the tour, however. There may be long periods of climbing steep stairs, walking or standing involved in the tour.
If you are interested in the tour, you can check your cruise compass. It will direct you on when and where you can book your tour once you are onboard.
The tours are also a bit pricey at $150 per person, so while it may be out of the question for the whole family to take the tour, it would make a great surprise for the boating fanatic in the family.
